The Igoshon Shrine, also known as the Orbs of Water Shrine, provides players with a unique gravitational challenge in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Located high above Hyrule, this shrine tests Link's ability to manipulate floating water spheres to reach higher platforms. Completing this trial requires clever timing, smart use of Zonai abilities, and strategic positioning.

Where to Find the Orbs of Water Shrine

The Igoshon Shrine is located on Wellspring Island within the Lanayru Sky Archipelago. Players will naturally encounter this location while completing the main story questline alongside Prince Sidon. Equipping the Zora Armor makes ascending the surrounding sky waterfalls much easier during your approach.

Navigating the Initial Water Orbs and Hidden Chest

Upon stepping inside the shrine, Link must step into a rising water orb to ascend to the main puzzle floor. On the left side of the second chamber, a treasure chest regularly falls into the abyss near a stationary bubble generator. Using Ultrahand, reposition a water orb under the falling chest to catch it and pull it to safety for a Large Zonai Charge.

Using Time Rewind to Ascend Higher

To reach the upper platform, observe the water orb falling downward on the right side of the room. Activate Link's Recall ability on the descending bubble and step inside to ride it backward up its path. Once at the top, immediately jump into the horizontal water bubble to float across the wide gap to the final puzzle room.

Building the Launch Ramp for the Final Room

The final room requires Link to build an angled launching ramp on top of a sliding block. Move the metal block along its rail so it sits directly in front of the orb generator. Use Ultrahand to attach the flat stone panel to the block at a rising angle. When a water bubble strikes your customized ramp, it launches high into the air, allowing Link to ride it up and glide safely to the altar for his Light of Blessing.
